why does it get cheaper? i think that maybe smooth jazz might cheapen the use of the word jazz but it still qualifies as jazz. it has a theme, improvisation(supposedly), and a restatement. just because you don't like it doesn't me that it's true. but i do think that smooth jazz is bad

Talented Girl, Great bass playing, sings great, great pitch. not too tough on the eyes. Nice rhythm section. A welcome breath of original fresh air.

i suppose you could say that about anything then couldn't you?i mean, why use the word "music" so often... that just cheapens the fact that it is. now, doesn't that sound foolish?can't you just enjoy listening to the music without worrying about some connotation of the word that you believe exists?oh, and the worldly application of the word "jazz" wasn't popularly used up until the mid 1920's
