In no way am I backing pol pot, but in the time before the khmer rouge's rise, like during king Norodom Sihanouk's rule, there was still poverty and corruption wasn't there? I mean wasn't one of the main reasons that people started following the khmer rouge's movement and moving from the cities to the country because they believed pol pot could bring them out of poverty?(even though his maoist and agrarian utopia ideas obviously failed and corruption was no better)

To all Khmer out there! Please do not overact to viet2008powerful's comments. We have Angkor Wat, nice beaches, oil, other natural resources. We have everything to be succeeded. Someday we have to kick those illegal vietnamese out of Tonle Sap. They ruine our natural treasure. I know it's hard for us to rebuild because our human resources were wiped out during Monster Pol Pot. Now look at the bright side, there more educated Cambodian compared to 10 years ago. We're making progress, be patient!

Like looking at ghost,most of the people you see walking around in this videos are probably dead,the pile of skulls you see in cambodia probably belong to one of these people in the video,i don't want to get too graphic about it,but it's in my thought.

wow tats a big difference!!!....now its so crowded and its soo poor....I feel bad for all of r ppl that have to go through that...khmai pride
