Seriously, grudges need to be left in the past, where they belong. Are you planning on holding the grudge and passing it on for generations to come? I'm assuming that since you're so nationalistic, you would want your country to advance forward right? Well, that won't happen with a widespread mindset like that. It's time for bygones be bygones.

Those khmer rouge really messed everything up; the effects are still so very present today. It seems that cambodia has just very barely begun to pick itself up...the long will be long before cambodia will be at the same level as the rest of the continent.

F*CK THOSE DAMN COMMUNISTS!Watching this video really angers me! If it weren't for the khmer rouge, cambodia would seriously be just as advanced as the rest of Asia! Just look at how peaceful and beautiful cambodia was back in 1965! This video evokes such nostalgia for the past -- the good old days!

My parents were only about 10 years old when this film was made. :) My dad lived in the countryside though, my mom in the city. Beautiful video, my family and I plan to visit...which will hopefully be soon!!

why sad? cambodia in 1965 was not a paradise either. Some propaganda footage doesn't really tell anything. I think cambodia is in a better shape now.

right nowi fell really sad i miss khmer so much but in 2 month i will go to khmer and i want u all to no how proud i am to be khmer. I can't ask for anything else. khmer back then look so pieceful and beautiful. I'm sad that million of khmer have to go through khmer rough i hope that we can stick together and help khmer. Like they said that we are tom peng snong reus sey. and i am. I will help as much as i can even b4 and after i watch this video.

Cambodia was so nice back then, until Pol Pot stepped in and f*cked it all up. I hope he burns in hell for messing up our country.
