So how did Angkor mysteriously disappear?It was the size of modern LA, a masterpiece of civil engineering. Forests were stripped and rivers removed to make way for temples, palaces and markets. Then, in a development that has long perplexed archaeologists, Angkor suddenly vanished. Now a recent study by the University of Sydney is re-examining Angkor using radar remote-sensing data from NASA. As archaeologist Damien Evans explains, the team's findings give a stark warning to Cambodia's corrupt and greedy rulers, and to modern societies worldwide. That's good you don't want to go visit Cambodia! I don't want any tourists visiting my home country! Why? Because I don't want the country to depend on tourism for economic development! It's all about import and export! Cambodia needs to export more and import less! Tourism is a weak source for a country's income.

Wow, thnx again for another informative film. I am traveling to Thailand, Laos and was planning to go to Cambodia as well in 5 weeks. Now I'm not so sure. The more I see of current Cambodian political structures the more I'm thinking I do not want to support them. Too bad the beautiful people are suffering.

Well, I was once a Khmer Rouge soldier, but a good one, never hurt anybody.But I always hated the way they brought our country down to it's knee. They almost destroy Cambodia completely. Pol Pot and his communist party are nothing but a criminal organization.

Chams are not from china, the Cham empire was in southern VN since before there were even people in china...east asians migrated from southeast asia thousands and thousands of years ago and they invaded VN during the first century a.d. highlanders(degar, etc), cham, khmers, all still live in VN. china didn't come around until 1000s of years later and then they left. VN fought china for over a thousand years and it looks like we might still be fighting today
