Eric Szmanda Jorja Fox - Burma It Can't Wait Myanmar Cyclone
http://... Days for a Million VoicesThe issues the people of Burma/Myanmar are struggling with have been present for some time, since the military dictatorship took power and began a policy of isolationism, forced labor, systematic rape, politicalimprisonment, and destroying villages (creating more than 1 million refugees in the process.) On May 1, three days before the cyclone, the US Campaign for Burma, Human Rights Action Center and Fanista.com launched Burma: It Can't Wait - a campaign using celebrity voices like Will Ferrell, Jennifer Aniston, Sarah Silverman, and Eddie Izzard to shine a light on the junta's actions. cojobo34-I need you to direct me to my post that you are refering on this vid site. I haven't post anything on this site at all criticizing U.S. Why will I? U.S did not block France's attemp to raise Burma's case before the U.N Security Council to authorize a humanitarian rescue opration on May 08/2008. It was China that blocked. Beijing was trying to shield Burma's generals from pressure to let foreign relief worker into the country of Burma. Should I continue China's involvement in Burma?
