Historically Burma/Myanmar was always liberated from Manipur which is currently under Indian occupation. As long as Manipur is under Indianmilitery occupation, Myanmer will always by ruled by this repressive millitery regime. Manipur needs to be out of India first.Manipur is both the liberator of Assam and Burma.

don't worry about not being safe, it is very safe to visit if u don't mind about poverty and living standard. People are beautiful and despite the hardship that they are facing daily, they would still bent backward for you. My tears comes out when I see the kids living on the street and working in the restaurant. It is very safe if that what u are concern about.

I would be a little nervous to go there. Some parts are not safe. Thailand is more developed and has more infrastructure. Burma still looks beautiful though. Is there much infrastructure there ?, or is it basic ?
