Norway is the world's third largest oil exporter after Russia and Saudi Arabia and the petroleum industry accounts for around a quarter of GDP The oil industry is mainly situated outside and controlled from the oil capital Stavanger.Norway has also rich resources of gas fields, hydropower, fish, forests, and minerals. Norway was the second largest exporter of seafood (in value, after China) in 2006. Other main industries include food processing, shipbuilding, metals, chemicals, mining, fishing and pulp and paper products. Norway has a Scandinavian welfare system and the largest capital reserve per capita of any nation.
norway is a bit different then the rest of europe i guess. the geography is carved by glaciers, and the gulf stream has melted these and made some spectacular scenery. i hear B.C canada is quite beutiful myself, i've always wanted to see more of the "new world" altho, we norwegians discovered it 5 centuries before the rest of europe, so it is not so new to us hehe.

I've always wanted to go to the "old world". Centuries old buildings, among other things have always amazed me. The only two countries I've ever been to were Canada (B.C.) and Mexico.
