I really just found you very opnionated, and somewhat ignorant and absent minded yourself. I can understand coming from Eastern Europe you might see wealth and power as the most important things, but I come from NZ, live in Austria and have visited both Croatia and America, so I'm not being ignorant here, just saying.

I'm not saying that the US isn't a relatively happy country, but there are so many countries that are so much more so.As for human development, while some parts are linked with the economic side, they certainly don't reflect one another.For the HDI, it's measured not only by GDP, but also life expectancy, literacy, education, and standard of living.Sacha Baron Cohen does a brilliant job of showing how far America has to catch up to other countries, whether it's exaggerated satire or not.

When you talk about human development is more important then power and economy doesent one reflect the other? As far as the video goes when you see family barbecues, kids playing, friends hanging out, all these good things you don't say anything but as soon as you see some college kids being gollege kids all of a sudden thats your whole view of america. Thats just being absent minded
