Hong Kong war ruins, Kai Tak 1949-51 舊香港
When I arrived in Hong Kong in 1949 ruins of the war could still be found, even in MacDonnell Road where I lived and on the Peak. The Peak tram nearby. Kai Tak was still the hazardous airport. A few more scenes of schools, Kowloon and Shatin, such a nice quiet place. Camera: Michael Rogge
